Aluminium Frames
Aluminium frames are stiff, light and inexpensive compared to carbon frames. Some of the latest frames boast advanced features and design touches comparable to carbon models. Most aluminium frames uses alloy 6061 or 7005. 6061 is a easy welded high strength alloy used in ship and aircraft construction.

Carbon Frames
Carbon fiber are the best high-end option for any road bike but it depends on the quality of material and often you will get an aluminium bike with higher grade wheels and components than you could get on a carbon bike of a similar price. Carbon might not be as durable but are the de fracto pro choice because of the added weight advantage.

Titanium Frames
These frames are more resistant to impact and stress than aluminum alloys with the added benefit of being corrode resistant. Some frames combines the strength and durability of titanium with the light weight and strength benefits of carbon fiber.
